“We left before daylight on this very long bus trip from Desenzano, del Garda. But, even before we boarded the bus we enjoyed gorgeous pre-sunrise views. The gentleman running the tour was very sweet natured, extremely informative regarding the history of all the areas we passed, and perhaps a bit verbose. We made a morning stop in a great little cafe with reasonably priced cappuccino and croissants. So delicious I went back for seconds on both. It’s a long trip, very long — some of the towns we stopped in were touristy end of little interest to me. But as we drew closer to the mountain peaks, the views became…”
